very seriously. A great man once said, “You can not achieve excellence without the proper
tools.” We embrace this idea and apply it to our philosophy everyday. The following is a shop
list that contains most of the technology and machines we use on the day to day. If you have

Precision Machining

Preferred Tool and Die offers a full line of precision machining services capable of producing any part your project requires. Our facility boasts an impressive range of machining centers that can transform titanium, 17-4 stainless steel, Kovar, cobalt chromium, copper, Ultem, and other materials into high-quality medical, scientific, aerospace, laboratory, and automotive components. Our in-house engineering team and machining staff have decades of experience developing and creating complex, multi-faceted parts for prototypes and products. Preferred is an ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 registered company, so you can be sure all of our components are created to the close tolerances your project necessitates.

Production Stamping

When creating production stamping components, having the right tools is non-negotiable. That is why Preferred Tool and Die has invested heavily in the highest-quality, most versatile machines available. Our production stamping facility is capable of working with a wide range of thin-gauge stainless steel stampings, and since the best tool is worthless in the wrong hands, Preferred has an expert staff of set-up mechanics and operators to ensure your component is correct the first time, every time. Our in-house engineering team is capable of taking your project from inception to completion, and our production process employs flexible production programs, a production scheduling ERP system, inventory management, and KanBan JIT production.
